SEMARA AUDIO PROGRAMMING!
Welcome to SEMARA's audio programming page consisting of readings primarily produced by SEMARA member Bob Zeida, N1BLF and other volunteer contributors. Bob has inspried many by spending countless hours at the microphone recording various ARRL publications for those with visual impairments and reading disabilities. Amateurs have come to know Bob's voice for keeping them updated with FCC Question Pool Readings, QST Magazine Digests and World Radio. These recordings are also useful for sighted hams who may listen to these digests on long trips, walks or drives with their MP3 players.
Some files may be quite large and require extra time on slower internet connections. For the average 1 hour recording, it should take 1 minute or less with high speed DSL or cable broadband.
Bob is recognized around the world from his contributions to the Courage Center Handi-Hams program and to the Talking Information Center. There have been several articles published describing Bob's work in this area and we are fortunate to have him as a friend and member of SEMARA. See this 2001 article from our local New Bedford Standard-Times newspaper.
